Gyanjivandasji Swami has arranged help for the troubled society via Shree Swaminarayan Mandir located both at Kundal & Karelibaug (Vadodara). Due to such help those who have become foundationless gets very good foundational help and they understands the virtues of Lord Swaminarayan and their deeds from both worlds are improved. By the inspiration of respected Swamiji following activities are conducted in time of needs.
Natural Calamities - Needy people, affected by natural calamities like flood, earthquake, plague, cyclone, etc. are helped in many different ways through temple funds. Affected peoples are supplied with prepared meal, food packets, groceries like wheat,grains etc., also clothes, beds, etc… by active participation of socialists. Saints personlly visit affected people and villages.
Educational help - Keeping in mind that intelligent children, who are poor and needy, do not suffer by lack of education, are supplied with uniforms, school fees, books, notebooks, etc… via temple. Children, who are deaf & dumb or retarded, are given delicious food once in a year.
low-cost publication - With a good thought of spreading humanity, good behavior, pittiness, beliefs, brotherhoodness, etc… in the society, temple releases sets of cassettes, CDs, VCDs, DVDs, etc… containing stories, music, religious lectures, telefilms, etc… and are available at very cheap rate. Cattle camp - At time of drought, special arrangement are done to fulfill the water and food necessity of poor animals. On some occation or sometime specially with the help of local pepole and devotes swamiji arrange camp at the temple or in different villages according to their requests. This way swamiji spread the message in society to help not only mankind but animals as well.
help on time - At time of calamity like earthquake, many people become homeless and some time whole villages destroyed , keep this in mind whole villages are being reconstructed via temple funds. Water is the one of the life source of mankind and that fulfill by rain. Even most of the villagers depend on rain, wothout rain it is very difficult for them to get drinking water. Thus CheckDams are being constructed by the temple, so that village people get enough drinking water.
In rainy season one of the problems that people with old age, ladies and village people faces is they have no latrines at their home so they are depend on open space. So to permanently solve this problem, latrines with tube wells are being constructed near to their homes.
